Shadow (Yorkipoo)

I know this letter is well past due. I just wanted to let you know how our little yorkie poo Shadow was doing. We purchased her from Double E Kennels in June 2012.  We decided to keep the name you gave her.

Shadow fit right in with our family right from day one. She is such a happy and vibrant little girl. She loves to be held and loves to be around us at all times. She goes across country with us between Alberta and New Brunswick every summer. She is a very inquisitive pup hardly sitting or laying for any length of time. During the winter months, she loves to play in the snow coming in full of snowballs stuck to her fur. In the summers she loves to dig holes, playing in the ocean and combing the beaches, going for sails in our boat and for walks in the woods.  Needless to say our floors are never spotless…lol!  She gets along well with other dogs although a little timid of large dogs she will warm up to them just takes a little bit.  She has her best friend Trip to keep her company when we have to leave her at home (which isn’t very often).  They get along so well, they have never had a fight. They share their toys, food and even treats.

When we brought shadow home, she was very easy to house train. She almost instantly learned to go out the doggie door when she had to go to the bathroom, of course I think her best pal Trip played the big part in house training her as he is a year older. She’s not a big barker. She will bark to let us know someone is at the door or on our property but doesn’t bark all the time. All in all one if the best dogs I’ve ever had.

I will try and keep you updated more often, sorry for the delay I didn’t realize so much time has passed. We’ve been enjoying everyday with our little pups, guess the saying is true how time flies when you’re having fun.

Bo

Lucy (Shichon)

This is Lucy. She is a ShihTzu and Bichon mix. She is without a doubt the best puppy!! She is my daughter’s bestfriend. I was under the impression little dogs arent really good with small children. That is NOT the case. She is great with her!! She was around 11 weeks when we brought her home. After just 2.5 months she comes to me and barks to be outside.

The Martin’s are wonderful people and you can tell they genuinely love their dogs. I have never seen a cleaner kennel!! I not only recommend getting a puppy here…I INSIST!! Thank you for giving us the best puppy ever!!!

Snickers (Coton de Tulear)

Snickers celebrated his first barkday last month with yummy treats for all his puppy family. To top it off he got to sit with Santa Paws and tell him what a good boy he’s been this year and how he wants an alligator squeak toy for Christmas! Mike and I are so in love with Snickers, it’s hard to imagine our life without him or before him. He’s brought so much joy, love and smiles to our house. Thank you for blessing us with this wonderfully, grumbly, zoomy puppy! Merry Christmas!

Nitro

Nitro  formerly Lionel is almost 2 years old already! He is extra special because he is our little leap year baby. We purchased him when we bought our first home together. He has been an absolute joy to my husband and I. We can’t imagine life without him. He is our little sidekick. He travels with us, sleeps in our bed and cuddles while we watch TV. He is such a loving little guy and we enjoy spoiling him to the max! We have an eye on a cute little puppy that we are considering for Nitro’s new brother. He loves other dogs so much, I think having a brother would make his life even better.

Bella (Dachshund)

I wanted to send you an update on our little puppy Bella (Nola). She is doing very well and brings a lot of joy to all of us.  At her last vet visit a couple weeks ago she was 5.7 pounds. When we got her at 8 weeks she was 3 pounds. She is a little pistol at times and loves to torment our other dog Harley who is about 8 years old. She is half boxer and half lab. Harley is very patient with her.  I think in the beginning Harley was hoping Bella was just visiting and was just a guest in the house but I think she now realizes she is here to stay and if my son takes Bella somewhere I think Harley actually misses her. I’m excited to see if we can get her to open her presents this year. As you can see she is one spoiled little puppy and has everyone wrapped around her little paw.
